This morning is starting out with the topic on taking on superpowers. The first speaker was Juan Enriques, who showed us http://www.mapsofwar.com/ which shows us the history of the middle east from a geopolitical perspective in about 90 seconds. He is talking about how borders are completely a human creation. He is talking about how flags and borders etc don’t matter nearly as much as how we treat each other. How many stars will the U.S. Flag have on it in x number of years? will we gain more states? loose some? Interesting debate.
