Undercover Apple Store Wedding

On Valentines day in the ipod section of the Fifth Avenue Apple store in New York City, Josh Li and Ya Ting exchanged vows in front of an officiant dressed as steve jobs. The couple’s vows were read off of an ipod, and as far as I can tell they didn’t get kicked out for doing this. Although you can see some apple store employees in the background, It looks like they were enjoying the occasion along with everyone else in the store.

Living on a wall

wallbros

Two Brothers in Rio de Janeiro have taken to living on the side of a building thirty feet in the air. No, its not part of a protest of some sort, but appears to be some sort of an art installation. Tiago Primo and Gabriel Primo, both are avid rock climbers and devised the plan to be a public art exhibit and have been living on the wall since May, with a plan to stay there until Mid-August.

Best Birthday party ever

So two weekends ago, My amazing partner Alina threw myself and my Sister in law Leana an absolutely amazing dual birthday party, My brother and father made it down from Vermont along with many friends from around the area. The big highlight of the day was definitely the cake. We had a cake built (which is the correct term) by the people down at Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, MD. If you don’t know about them, they are featured in the food network show “Ace of Cakes”, and they make some of the most fantastic Cakes in the world. The cake that they created for us is a model of Alina and my beloved Honda Element, with Leana (My sister-in-law) and I sitting on the roof eating sushi (something we both love). The detail work on the cake was absolutely incredible. I just uploaded some photos of the cake, and the party, and figured I’d write a post about it so that everyone can take a look at it. Click on the picture to view the album.

NLCS Game 1 starts in a couple hours

At the NLCS Game 1, Phillies vs. Dodgers, this video is a quick tour of the tv compound, from the field level back around through where all of the Fox HD broadcast trucks (3 of them) are parked in through the patch room (where all of our cables go), and outside to where the sat trucks are, and the Generator truck is located. the video is a little shaky, but viewable. I’ll take a few more pictures and put them up later.
